About Dr. LaCount

My approach

Science and compassion: it’s a simple formula and one that is at the core of everything I do.

I incorporate evidence-based approaches that have been shown to work and tailor them specifically for you. I believe it is my responsibility to stay up-to-date with leading-edge research so when you entrust me with your care, I can confidently say I am providing treatments and assessments with the best science behind them.

I also believe individuals grow best when they are in an environment of genuine compassion and support. I actively try to create a space where you can feel comfortable being who you truly are.

about me

I grew up in Fort Collins with my six siblings (I know!) where I went to Rocky Mountain High School, studied at CSU, and played hockey. After completing my doctoral training, I returned home to start my practice in 2021. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my friends and family, cementing my status as “best uncle” with my niece and nephew, and enjoying the outdoor splendors of Colorado—including hiking, skiing, and camping (aka, a socially acceptable excuse to overindulge on s’mores). I also enjoy cooking, laughing with friends, and finding new things to nerd out on.
